Fitness@MIP is where our park members and the local community come to get in some activity in a welcoming, non-judgemental space. We offer a range of equipment, machines, group fitness classes and personal training options to help you reach your fitness goals in a fun and sustainable way.

Fitness@MIP offers a variety of group fitness classes to help you find the style of activity that works for you. All of our instructors are certified in their respective fields and have experience working with people at all levels of fitness.

Personal Training & Nutrition

Personal Training is available with our Head Trainer and Fitness Coordinator, Moe Graszat. Moe is a Triathlete and has been a fitness professional for over ten years. Moe holds certifications from the Ontario Fitness Council as a Platinum Resistance Trainer, CanfitPro as a Personal Trainer Specialist, and is a Heart-Wise Certified Trainer and Certified Equipment specialist. No matter where you are in your fitness journey, Moe can help you make a plan to reach your fitness goals in a realistic and sustainable way while pushing yourself to achieve more than you thought possible.

Our health & wellness journeys are impacted by many factors. While physical activity is a huge component of this, some often forget nutrition. Finding an eating style for you can be confusing. Moe also offers one-on-one nutrition consultations. After learning a little bit more about you, your life, and your health goals, Moe will help you develop healthier choices to help you reach your goals.

Learn more about our exciting fitness classes

  • Beginner Yoga is a class designed for everyone. Either a hardcore yogi or someone new to practicing yoga can participate. Aura will take you through many poses in a slow and deliberate fashion to ensure your form is correct and that you are experiencing the full stretch. Aura is an extremely capable and fully certified instructor who can tailor any exercise to help you achieve your fitness goals.

  • This class is designed to increase each participant’s strength using weights, body bars and kettlebells, to provide the best results. Strength Circuit is designed for beginners new to the gym or seasoned veterans looking to add to their regular routine. Moe G can modify any exercise upon request to ensure each participant’s safety.

  • This class is designed for the intermediate participant; however, participants new to yoga are encouraged to attend. Aura can meet the needs of anyone attending class. Asana Yoga is similar to the beginner Yoga but with advanced intermediate poses.

  • Stretch, Mobility, and Core offers an excellent way to help participants unwind after a long work week. It is a great start to the weekend. Moe G will start with upper body workouts and work through stretching the full body, working on core, mobility, and finishing off by foam rolling all the knots out that we acquired through the week. This class is suitable for everyone.

  • This class is for everyone, from Beginner to the Experienced Rider. This class will help you build endurance for the upcoming riding season. Lose weight, tone your legs, and have some fun along the way! The music is always hopping, and the class focuses on different elements of riding each week.

  • This class is suitable for all levels of fitness. It is a 60-minute practice with a mix of Yoga, HIIT, and Weights. It is a perfect combination of all three disciplines. This is a high intensity class. You will sweat, tone, and relax.

  • This class is a combination of cross fit, circuit, and plyometrics. Each week is a different focus, using minimal equipment. It is a challenging class; however, Moe G can accommodate everyone. This class is done in a circuit style which allows everyone to go at their own speed.

  • This class is designed to help those realize their dreams of becoming a Superhero. Each week the focus is on working towards strength and mobility. The session is designed to help you achieve your goals. It targets virtually every muscle in your body and helps you become more coordinated and capable of generating more power. This class is suitable for all. This takes place Tuesday from 12:00 – 1:00

  • Kinstretch is a movement training system that focuses on developing maximum body control, flexibility and usable range of motion. The practice is designed to help individuals move more efficiently and effectively by improving joint mobility, muscle activation and movement quality. Regularly practising Kinstretch can enhance your body's ability to move in different ways and increase your overall range of motion. This is class is suitable for all and especially for those that suffer from joint ailment.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
Monthly Billing:
 Your credit card will automatically be billed on the 1st of each month for your monthly membership.
Prepaid Billing: You can purchase a membership for 1 to 12 months at a time. You pay upfront so your credit card will not be billed monthly. If you have any questions, you can email Amanda Walton at awalton@mcmasterinnovationpark.ca.
