IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE

Covid-19 Procedures for the Atrium@MIP as of March 21, 2022

On Monday March 21, 2022, McMaster Innovation Park (MIP) will remove its mandatory mask requirement in keeping with the recently announced provincial guidelines. This means that individuals accessing MIP's controlled common areas, will not be required to wear a protective face covering upon entering. This is in addition to the removal of our mandatory proof of vaccination request which became effective on March 1, 2022.

While we are excited to advance to this phase of the reopening plan and welcome the opportunity to ease some of our safety policies, it is not without consideration for the overall safety, comfort and concern for all our staff, tenant ventures and visitors accessing our buildings on a daily basis. Please therefore note, that MIP welcomes your decision to wear or not wear a mask when accessing our facilities. We are also encouraging everyone to be mindful and respectful of personal decisions on this matter when using our common areas. Tenant ventures operating within their space, continue to have full responsibility on defining their workplace and safety policies as they see fit.

We have certainly come a far way and we are happy that your vigilance and efforts have brought us this far. Thank you for you continued support and we look forward to interacting with you soon.

MIP's cleaning staff remains diligent on cleaning and safety protocols and will continue to place emphasis on high traffic areas such as door handles and washrooms. If you have any questions about protocols or access to MIP please contact Scott Bennett at sbennet@mcmasterinnovationpark.ca

If you have any questions or concerns about MIPs reopening procedures please contact Scott Bennett at sbennett@mcmasterinnovationpark.ca for more information.
