Roger Couldrey has been appointed McMaster’s Interim Vice-President (Administration). He is no stranger to the University, having served the past ten years on the Board of Governors and seven years as Chair of the Finance and Audit Committees. Roger assumed the position on August 10th, 2009 and will continue until the end of March 2010, when it is hoped a permanent candidate will be in place. Prior to McMaster, Roger was the Chief Operating Officer of CommunityLend Inc., a new Canadian venture in peer-to-peer lending. He has extensive leadership experience as President and CEO of epost and from an extensive career with Bank of Montreal, where he held a number of senior executive positions for many years. He also spent three years locally with Orlick Industries. Roger has been very active in the local community for many years with, among others, the RoyalBotanical Gardens, the Art Gallery of Hamilton and the United Way.
