Colin Osborne

Colin OsborneMr. Osborne is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of the Vicwest Income Fund, a $400 Mil Revenue TSX listed company (VIC.UN).  The Fund specializes in the manufacture and distribution of products for the construction, agricultural and oil and gas industries, and is active in both domestic and international markets.

Prior to joining Vicwest, Colin provided consulting services to a variety of private equity, investment banking, manufactuing and engineering businesses, with a focus on M&A.  He has been involved in several significant M&A transactions and has extensive capital market experience including assisting in the raising of over $200 million of equity in North America and Europe.

Overall, Colin has 20 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, most of it in senior operating and general management positions at the former Stelco Inc., including acting as Chief Operating Officer during one of Canada's largest corporate restructurings.

Colin has extensive past board experience in both public and private sector, and is currently a Trustee of the Vicwest Income Fund Board, a director on Tube City IMS (an Onex portfolio company), a director for Thomson-Gordon Inc., and a director for the McMaster Innovation Park.

Colin is a professional engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering degree from McGill University and has completed the Executive Program at the Queen's University School of Business.
